Misadventures abound for handsome, naive Joseph Andrews, abandoned as a baby, tutored by the clueless Parson Adams, pursued by the lecherous Lady Booby, tempted by the wily chambermaid Betty, but in love with the forbidden Fanny. Inspired by Henry Fielding's novel, this rollicking comic romp through 18th-century England is from the author of THE SABBATH GIRL.
Join us as Penguin Rep Theatre honors Edie Falco (Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award-winning actress), Andrew McCarthy (actor, director and award-winning travel writer) and Michael Palmer (stage manager extraordinaire), and presents Orange & Rockland with the inaugural Morton Wolkowitz Business Award.
Festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. at Penguin Rep Theatre in Stony Point, N.Y. with presentations to the honorees and musical entertainment, followed by a gourmet supper catered by Hudson's MIll Tavern at the Gilmor Sloane Mansion located adjacent to the theatre.
